Don’t miss this fabulous wine tour! I can’t recommend De Gustibus highly enough. Tommaso was the perfect guide, incredibly informative and great company. The wineries we visited were a very special experience, we didn’t feel uncomfortable although we knew very little about wine and had never been wine tasting before. The choices of stunning scenery, amazing food and wine and great company made it a day we won’t forget.

Fun, informative, and full of excellent wine (and food!), the Chianti tour is well worth the day trip out of Florence and into the heart of the Chianti Classico region. Tommaso was our amiable guide, able to speak about the history of the region, facts about the wine (he’s a sommelier in addition to a tour guide) and the sights we passed along the way. Before booking, I was hesitant about a full day trip that only included two (unnamed) wineries. But with literally hundreds of wineries to choose from in Chianti, it makes sense that Tommaso changes it up from one tour to the next — it not only spreads the love across many different wineries, it also keeps his own interest. Moreover, the visits themselves are *immersive* and unlike the more corporate wine crawls one might experience in Napa. Both wineries were family-run affairs where you meet the winemaker themselves, tour the cellar(s), and stroll the stunningly beautiful grounds/vineyard. We also met some cows. It’s worth mentioning the homemade Tuscan lunch was the best meal we had in Florence and paired with, as expected, equally incredible wine. Highly recommended and encouraged — a true highlight to our trip.

Had the pleasure to have Gilberto as our guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour starting with a medium sized winery and finishing with a smaller one. We then had a delicious home made meal. They were able to accommodate the dietary needs, and just had an extremely pleasant experience.

We had the best time with Gilberto. We were on our honeymoon and he treated us like he had known us for years. Made us feel very comfortable. He was very informative and answered all of our questions. We had a blast. He truly went above and beyond for us. We had a meal with Anna that was to die for. The food is so fresh and delicious. Definitely do any tour with this company. The people are amazing.
