Description
Ride a Vespa through Tuscany on this tour from Florence. A local guide leads the way up through the scenic hills, where you pass the famous Piazzale Michelangelo and the Church of San Miniato al Monte. Afterward, head back to our country estate for a traditional Italian meal to top off your journey. To ensure an intimate experience, this tour is limited to 15 travelers.
Your Vespa tour will begin in central Florence, where you’ll meet your guide and head straight to our garage for a brief safety overview and practice ride before hitting the road. Saddle up on your stylish Vespa and follow your guide through tree-lined avenues until you reach the hills in the countryside. Admire panoramic views of Florence from the Church of San Miniato al Monte before taking a peek inside. The Romanesque church hosts an array of incredible artwork and is one of the city’s lesser-known gems.
Continue into the Tuscan hills, past poppy fields and vineyards, with plenty of opportunities to pause for photos. As you travel back toward Florence, pull over at Piazzale Michelangelo, where views of the Arno River and the iconic Duomo stretch out before you. Conclude your adventure with a Tuscan meal (menu for lunch is bruschetta, pasta and a cheese and salami board). Sit back, relax and soak up the Italian spirit before heading back to your original departure point.

My entire family had the best time. The guides were patient and encouraging with new drivers. The setting for lunch was beautiful

Phenomenal tour, well run, enthusiastic guides. They bus you on a nice air conditioned Mercedes from central Florence to the Tuscan hills. After a full safely briefing and a road test we were off riding brand new Vespas through Tuscany. Our guide Gabrielle struck a perfect balance of telling us about the sites, stories of the buildings, and information about the wine and olive oil growing area of Chianti Classico. Most of the fun was simply driving these vehicles up and down the countryside. a+ for the whole operation and the quality of their vehicles (all brand new as of 2023) August , only improvements could be made to shortening the lunch period,, the villa, though quite nice, was extremely hot and we would rather have for back on the road earlier

Finding the pick up spot was very easy. We took a bus to the garage where we had a quick test to see if you would be safe on the vespas. This trip is really intended for those who are able to ride a Vespa or drive a manual car. If you are not experienced you will have extra testing or not be able to take a Vespa. Everyone is our group was experienced so we quickly got out on the road. Our tour guide Gabe kept us safe on our ride and had facts about every spot. The lunch at the end was good with amazing views. I highly recommend this trip for anyone looking for a way to see Tuscany in an adventurous way.

This was the best tour ever!! Our guides were the best and were patient with us as we learned how to drive a Vespa. After training we began driving the Vespas through the Tuscany countryside which was amazing. We stopped at various famous locations along the way. The last stop and the estate has a breathtaking view of Firenze. We were served pasta and a meat and cheese board with some wine. The food was delicious too. I would highly recommend this tour.

What fun this excursion was! You do not want to pass this by! Our guide Mano took us on a tour around Tuscany. We stopped at a vineyard, and 2 overlooks. One of Tuscany and the 2nd that overlooked Florence which also has an amazing church. Our last stop was dinner! Where we ate at a farmhouse where they also do pasta and pizza classes. We sat outside and was served pasta, bruschetta, cheese, salami and prosciutto. It was delicious! If you are apprehensive about riding a Vespa, do note there are a couple of spots where you ride through gravel, not my favorite thing to do, but I made it! If I could rate this 10 stars I would!

Loved loved the Vespa tour! All of our family was engaged and soaking in every moment of learning about the history of the area, seeing the beautiful sites and enjoying homemade Italian food. Our tour guide Alex was excellent. He was informative without talking too much or too little and that’s hard to do! He made sure we were safe and kept us at a good pace, always looking out for us. I highly recommend this excursion, it has been the highlight of our trip!
