Description
Don’t pass up this opportunity to master the craft of authentic egg pasta in a magnificent 16th-century Florentine mansion. Situated atop the Florence hills and just a short ten-minute drive from the heart of the city, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views. Step off the beaten path and relish the company of newfound companions.
We’ll kick off with a welcoming coffee and some light snacks, providing a chance for friendly introductions. Following my lead, we’ll plunge our hands into the fundamentals, combining flour and eggs to mold two distinct pasta forms. We’ll shape it both manually and with the aid of a pasta maker, crafting ravioli and spaghetti. But first, we’ll take a pause to savor a delightful tomato-basil bruschetta paired with sparkling Prosecco.
Soon after, it’s time to knead another batch for potato gnocchi. Our menu boasts gnocchi in a special sauce, spaghetti adorned with pesto, and ricotta-spinach stuffed ravioli dressed in a buttery sage glaze. Unitedly, we’ll cook our pasta creations and set up the dining area to indulge in the delectable dishes you’ve crafted. Raising a glass, we’ll cheer, “Salute!” and dive in with a hearty “buon appetito!” Revel in the ambiance, the velvety red wine, the tunes, and delightful chatter. My abode is a welcoming sanctuary, well-equipped and refreshing. I eagerly await your arrival, keen to share my cherished pasta techniques!

We had the pleasure of attending Francy’s cooking class, and it was an unforgettable experience. The class revolved around crafting three different pasta varieties, and it was an absolute blast. The group that joined us was fantastic, infusing the class with a vibrant and enjoyable vibe. Francy’s humor was infectious, keeping everyone in stitches throughout the session. Her jokes added a unique dimension to the event. Under Francy’s expert guidance, we not only learned the art of crafting pasta but also had a fantastic time doing so. If you’re seeking a blend of culinary education and hearty laughter, we wholeheartedly recommend Francy’s class. It’s a journey into Italian cuisine you won’t want to miss! Plus the house view is incredible 😍 we’re talking about the kind of view that makes you feel like you’ve stepped right into a scene from “Under the Tuscan Sun.” It was that good.

The class with Francesca is a must do when in Florence! Her villa is stunning, situated in the hills of Florence, with amazing views of Tuscany during the class. Francesca is very warm and welcomed us into her home with open arms. We had the privilege of being in a great group, which made it a great social event to attend. The dishes we prepared were all delicious, and Francesca wasn’t shy on the Prosecco and Red Wine throughout the class! The class ended with dessert and Limoncello! Thanks for such a great evening of delicious food, drinks and company!
