Description
Head to the centrally positioned office to connect with your expert chef-guide prior to the commencement of your afternoon or evening journey. Board a minibus to a secluded property nestled in the hills overlooking Florence. Begin your gastronomic adventure by sampling a classic focaccia starter paired with a Chianti wine glass. Relish the vistas of the undulating landscapes as your tutor delves into the origins of Italy’s renowned dishes: pizza and gelato.
Subsequently, your culinary mentor demonstrates the art of crafting pizza dough, discussing its local variations. Once the dough is set, choose your desired toppings from a range of fresh veggies picked from the property’s gardens. Your pizza is then cooked in an authentic wooden-fired oven. Once done, take a seat to relish your handmade pizza with a choice of wine or beer. As a sweet finish, master the art of whipping up a velvety gelato, which can be garnished with toppings and drizzles.
Your tutor supplies the recipes for both pizza and gelato, enabling you to recreate them at your residence. Your gastronomic journey concludes with a ride back to your inception spot in Florence.
This gourmet cooking class pairs two Italian favorites with scenery that beats any restaurant.

Wow! What an experience. We were blown away by how wonderful these people were. We started with Angela greeting us and offering a nice bruschetta made with the ingredients from their garden with wine, beer and water. We don’t drink alcohol so the water was perfect and plentiful. We could go through the garden and even pick tomatoes, basil or anything else if we wanted to try them. Angela was a specialist is Gelato making and really makes you feel at ease with the explanation. She is a very passionate person and was super patient with everyone. Then we go to the outdoor pizza area it’s these incredible views and meet up with tye 2 pizza masters Thomas and Titziano. This was a comedy show and detailed pizza making course all in one. They were just fantastic. Thomas takes the lead and really gets into the details of how pizza dough is properly made. This is very interesting and NOT boring at all. Them we get to actually make the dough, later we top the pizzas with all of these incredible fresh ingredients and eat it all. We were a family of 6 (17, 15, 13 and 8). Our 8 year old was having a great time as well so don’t worry if you have younger kids. All I can say is you MUST try this tour with these people. I would give 6 stars if I could. All 6 of us said this was the best part of our 3 week trip to Italy last night when we got back from the event. We will remember this for a long time. Thank you to Angela, Thomas, Tiziano, and even. Mary and Lucy in the kitchen cleaning after us and making it feel so smooth. You were all just great! The most amazing experience you can have as a family.
