Nunzio was the best driver. Knowledgable and fun. Also flexible with our time and made the most of it. He selected 2 amazing wineries. He was such a pleasure to be with all day. If I come back to Tuscany, I would only do this tour. Definitely worth the price and highly recommended. My whole family agrees.

No Better way to spend a day! What a tremendous day. To spend time getting to know the countryside with Sandro. He was so knowledgeable about both the country and the wine process. (Nice to have someone who has worked in the business for 30 years truly educate you). The wineries were perfect – the visits spectacular along with the food and wine. Impeccable driving and vehicle comfort. Will also weave in more historical facts and Italian history then you could ever hope to learn from a book. Thank you ‘Sandro! Looking forward to the next visit already. Value was incredible.

The tour was awesome! Marco was our driver and he just had this laid back vibe that was perfect for the day of wine tasting. Got to see 2 kind of of winery experiences, and both were great. Also, Marco had a few cool surprises in store for us and we really enjoyed the well rounded day.

Luca picked our group up right outside our accomodations in Florence and led us out of town by way of a quick stop at Piazzle Michaelangelo and gave us an overview of the city and its history. We made our way from there down towards Montalcino. Along the way Luca explained about the differences between the wines (e.g. Brunello di Montalcino, Brunello di Montalcino Riserva, Rosso di Montalcino vs. Chianti). We were in awe as the sunshine broke through the clouds as a we approached the town of Montalcino. Luca drove us up to the town center and dropped us off to walk and explore for half an hour before departing to Poggio Rubino. We were happily surprised at the delicious courses for lunch that were paired with the range of wines produced at the property. We departed for Montepulciano after making some purchases to be shipped to us. We made a quick detour in Pienza, where we go had a quick walk around and got some caffe espresso to perk up. We stopped in Val d’Orcia and were able to get out of the car and take in the verdant landscape. We soon got to the main piazza in Montepulciano and walked to Talosa, where we did a self tour of their underground cellar before the tasting. We walked around the town and took in the vistas before returning to Florence. It was a fantastic tour, and Luca is a first-rate guide. Definitely a highlight of our trip.
