Description
Hop on your coach in Florence and set off across the rolling landscapes of Tuscany, making your way to the historic city of Siena. Choose to embark on a guided exploration of the city, including a visit to the famous Siena Cathedral to appreciate its stunning Gothic architecture. Alternatively, use some free time to stroll at your own pace, perhaps sipping a coffee in the sunshine, just like the locals do. From there, venture back into the Tuscan hills to delve into the heart of the Chianti wine region.
Take a walk through a vineyard, olive groves and a winery, then rejuvenate with lunch in a Tuscan winery. As you eat among the vineyards, strike up conversations with fellow travelers and savor regional specialties such as cured meats, salads, pastas, and fresh breads. Even better, a wine tasting takes place at the same time (not included in the tour option without lunch, guests will instead spend more time in San Gimignano). After lunch, fixed stop for San Gimignano, characterized by its ancient towers, paved alleys and squares. Immerse yourself in the history of the central area of the city, enjoy a fresh ice cream and walk around its 14 iconic towers, understanding their historical significance.
Next, head from San Gimignano to Pisa, the final destination of the day. Accompany your guide to Piazza del Duomo to unveil landmarks such as the Pisa Cathedral, the Pisa Baptistery, the Monumental Cemetery (also known as the Camposanto), and, without a doubt, the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Conclude your journey through Tuscany as you return to Florence, culminating your tour with drop-off back at the starting point.

AMAZING! I don’t have enough words to describe the experience. I usually don’t write reviews but Dorian was so amazing that I have to say something. Yes, the day is long but it worth it. They have a perfectly organized tour with different people and guides to teach you local history and traditions.

What a great way to get a taste of Tuscany! Our tour guide, Ludovica, was phenomenal and definitely helped to make the day so much fun! It was a definitely a long day with lots of walking, but don’t let that deter you. If you only have a limited amount of time in Tuscany, this is definitely the way to see a lot of it in one day. We are now looking to plan our trip to some of the individual small towns we stopped at along the way.

This was an amazing day trip from Florence. We were lucky enough to go to Siena during the Palio trials! A beautiful city! We enjoyed the delicious lunch at the farm and made some friends. San Gimignano was beautiful and we had some delicious gelato. Pisa was a treat as we climbed to the top of the leaning tower. Gabriel was absolutely a fantastic host, providing informative commentary about each stop and bringing the culture to life! He was did an excellent job of delightfully shepherding a full bus load of people through a 12 hour day. We had an excellent day! Highly recommend this trip to get a flavor of Tuscany and the culture in this region of Italy.

This all day tour was incredible! It was a long day but it was worth it as we got to see so much. Our tour guide was great. She did a wonderful job telling us about each place on the way there and was clear and concise with directions and meeting points/times. She was organized and kept everything on schedule. We had plenty of time in each city to roam about, free to do our own thing. The bus had a/c and was very comfortable. It stayed locked during each city visit so we could leave our shopping items behind. One of our favorite parts of the tour was stopping at a farm with a winery for lunch. The lunch served was delicious and the wines we got to sample were equally amazing. We had plenty of food and wine and great views to take lots of pictures on the back balcony. We were able to order wine, olive oil and other items from this farm to be shipped back to us in the states. Highly recommend this tour! As with most places in Italy, it is a lot of walking so be prepared to do so.
